1. Agreement to Terms

By installing, accessing, or using any application ("App") developed and published by Bytera ("we", "us", "our") on the Atlassian Marketplace, you ("you", "your", "End User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use our Apps.

These Terms constitute a separate agreement between you and Bytera. Bytera is the licensor of our Apps — not Atlassian. Atlassian is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for our Apps or their content.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms and your compliance with the applicable Atlassian Marketplace terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our Apps for your internal business purposes.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our Apps.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our Apps.
  • Sublicense, sell, or transfer your license to any third party.
  • Use the Apps in any way that violates applicable laws or Atlassian's terms.

3. App Description & Functionality

XPress

XPress is a Confluence app that allows users to export Confluence pages and blog posts to beautifully formatted PDF documents. Features include custom templates, bulk export, and format customization.

We strive to maintain the availability and accuracy of our Apps, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

4. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Use our Apps in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain the security of your Atlassian account credentials.
  • Not use our Apps to process, store, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, or in violation of third-party rights.
  • Accept these Terms before using our Apps.

5. Data & Privacy

Our Apps process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Apps, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, and consents from your end users for the processing of their data through our Apps.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in our Apps, including but not limited to software, design, trademarks, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of Bytera. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

7. Pricing & Payment

Our Apps may be offered as free or paid products. Pricing and payment terms are managed through the Atlassian Marketplace. Any fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as otherwise stated in the Atlassian Marketplace terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Our Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Apps.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bytera from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of our Apps, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Apps if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use our Apps ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability and Indemnification) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our Apps after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and applicable local laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
