Pulse Overview
Pulse is a content-health monitor for Confluence Cloud. It reads your spaces and pages, scores every page on a 0–100 Health Score and a 0–100 AI-Ready Score, surfaces broken links, and tracks how all of these change over time.
Pulse runs entirely inside Atlassian Forge — no external content servers, no copies of your pages leave your tenant.
What Pulse gives your team
Section titled “What Pulse gives your team”- A Content Health Score for every page, every space, and your whole Confluence instance.
- An AI-Ready Score that estimates how parseable your content is for AI tools like Atlassian Rovo.
- Broken Link Detection across spaces — surfacing every dead internal link so you can fix it.
- Duplicate Detection — warns about existing pages that appear to have similar content before a duplicate is born; the Advanced edition adds AI semantic detection (Atlassian Forge AI) for similar content that is worded differently.
- Inline page badges — every Confluence page shows its health score in the byline, so authors see the score where they author.
- Per-space dashboards with page-level breakdowns and recommendations.
- Trend analysis — track health, AI-readiness, and broken-link counts over time.
- Custom Policies — define your own content quality rules and weights, instance-wide.

Editions

Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- Confluence Cloud (Forge apps don’t run on Server / Data Center).
- A user account with permission to view the relevant spaces.
- Some scans need admin privileges (full-instance global scans run from the Dashboard).
