Changelog

XPress updates automatically through Atlassian Forge — there is nothing to install or upgrade on your side.

Release date: TBD

The first public release on the Atlassian Marketplace.

  • One-Click Export — export any Confluence page to PDF with a single click.
  • Bulk Export — multi-select pages or include entire branches of the page tree; export a whole space if you want.
  • Page Layout Control — A4 / Letter / Legal / A3, portrait or landscape, per-side margin control in millimetres.
  • Headers and Footers — free-text header and footer that appears on every PDF page.
  • Page Numbers — toggle on, position in any bottom corner. Format: current / total.
  • Export History — last 20 exports per space, with status and re-download links.
  • Async background jobs — large bulk exports queue and run in the background while you keep using Confluence.
  • Real-time progress — a progress bar with percentage updates as the export runs.
  • Headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, code blocks
  • Confluence panels (info, warning, note, etc.)
  • Layout columns
  • Inline and embedded images
  • Status macros
  • Most macros that resolve to HTML at Confluence export time
  • Built on Atlassian Forge.
  • Read scopes for page content, attachments, hierarchical navigation, and search.
  • Write scopes for attaching results back to pages.
  • GDPR compliant. See privacy and security for the full picture.
  • Paid app with Atlassian Marketplace licensing.
  • Session-only settings — paper size, margins, headers, footers, page numbers reset to defaults each time you open XPress.
  • Per-export uniform layout — one paper size / orientation / chrome configuration per PDF; you can’t mix within a single export.
  • Page tree order — bulk export PDFs follow the Confluence page hierarchy order; no manual reorder.
  • 20-export history per space — older exports roll off as new ones run.
  • No master table of contents for bulk exports — individual page ToC macros render, but XPress doesn’t synthesize a top-level ToC.
  • External images may not always embed reliably — uploading as Confluence attachments is more reliable.

Future release notes will be appended to this page.
